The summer holidays are upon. Time to head to the seaside and, who knows, we might just as well found Ponyo there.

10 colours in use (numbers can be reduced) - 47 stitches over 45 stitches
It's the season for ice creams! So here are some cool cross stitching charts about ice creams!!

It's been a while since my last free cross stitch, and it's been at least 5 years since my football-related cross stitch grid. So today I had to make do. Here it is, for your enjoyment, the free cross stitch grid of the Manchester United FC logo.

You will need a fabric that can take 100 stitches x 100 stitches. Colours are down to basic three: red, yellow, black.

Enjoy

I am a fan of Totoro. Let's be honest, it would difficult not to be. Totoro is a fluffy friendly giant who is always surrounded by even cuter creatures.

Here is a grid I have made that I want to share it with you. Happy stitching!

Winter Spring is coming !

This is the season for spring clean and, boy, there is some cleaning to do in this blog. First let's dust off the spider webs in the 'free cross-stitch grid' section. When was the last time I wrote something in there.... oh yes.... mmmmhhh... no way! it was in 2012!!! Shall we begin then?

Today my favourite spring-related topic is flower, and what flower is the best to symbolise the start of spring? Yes, you have guessed it right, it is indeed the daffodil.

PS : I am looking to get a cross stitch design software (Mac version). I have heard about Macstitch, but could you recommend other brand? Thanks
What a journey since my last post.... Le Stitch has been busy trying to get her life in order: moving house, preparing the next house move [yes, again!], getting out of the country and back on multiple occasions, adding to this, the horrible Internet connection using a plastic USB key larger than my laptop, and there you go, you've got Le Stitch missing from the Web for two months!

With winter coming back, I'm sure I'll be more active in the next coming months. For now, I'm very pleased to offer you my latest new members in the family of free stitching grids: the Japanese doll.

So uber cute! Feel free to change colours and comment on the grid. Finally if you do stitch the doll, do not hesitate to send me pictures. I'd love to publish them on my blog.

Happy stitching ^ ^
The mummy loves her cakes.

Since she always so kindly brings to the office some cakes she made over the weekend, I thought I had to give her back some in the shape of a cross-stitched baby bib.

So there it is, some great-looking, mouth-watering, Le Stitch-made, French pastries & cupcakes

Le Stitch is back. Back from an amazing wedding in the breathtaking Douro Valley in Portugal. Back from the sun and the heat...

... Back to work - oh yes... big time!

Two of my colleagues are mothers-to-be and will soon be on maternity leaves. So I've wished to offer them a little present before their depart to pasture anew: Le Stitch is embroidering baby bibs using the traditional cross-stitching technique.

The second bib will be ready very soon - stay connected :)
